The Kerala Forest Research Institute is an organization based in Peechi, in Thrissur, India. It was established in 1975 by the Government of Kerala as part of its Science and Technology Department, and in 2003 became part of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment

Qualifications :

1. Project Fellow (RP 721/KSCSTE/KFRI/Estt/2016)

Project Name :

 “ Economic Valuation of ecosystem services in the moist deciduous forests of Kerala "

Number of vacancies: 2

Educational qualification:

Essential qualification: First class Master’s Degree (M.A.) in Applied Economics

Desirable:

 2-3 Years research/field experience in the area of Environmental Economics /Economic Valuation of Natural Resources, Ecosystem Services/Policy /Forestry

Duration: Up to 31 August 2021

Fellowship: Rs. 15,400/- per month

Age limit :

36 years ( relaxation as per govt rules )

Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.

Project name:

“Diversity and dynamics of a tropical forest ecosystem in Southern Western Ghats in the context of climate change “

Number of vacancies: 5

Essential qualification : First class Post Graduate Degree in Botany/Forestry Ecology/Environmental Science/Wildlife Biology/Zoology.

Desirable  : 1. Field experience in forest areas

                        2.     UGC, CSIR NET

Fellowship: Rs. 22,000/- per Month.

Age limit : 36 years ( relaxation as per govt rules )

Interview date : 11 Nov 2019 10.00 AM
